a happy day at the beach

We met them at a Bridal Bazaar back in 2018. Dick and I loved taking their engagement photos on Coronado Island and their wedding photos a few months later. This is one of those couples that has a quiet and deep connection that I believe comes through in photos. I remember how they supported each other and were each other’s sanctuary during the excitement of their wedding day.

We’ve now had a couple opportunities to take photos of their families since they’ve had kids. And it’s so cool to see that even all these years later, they’re still an amazing team – this time as parents raising two sweet, curious and HAPPY daughters. There we were, back at the beach at Coronado Island, and the girls didn’t fully understand why they would be here if not to play. And you know what that tells me? That their lives are so full of play that it’s expected. And honestly, is there any better indicator of a happy childhood?
