Jamie and Brad: love, candy hearts, and 80’s rock in Poway
After having such a great time with Jamie and Brad on their engagement session at Poway Lake, I could hardly wait until their Valentine’s Day wedding in Poway. I love how laid-back and fun these two are – they put everyone at ease, and the relaxed attitude shows in the photos. It was such a perfect, love-themed day.
Jamie and Brad were married at the Community Church of Poway‘s historic chapel. Having grown up in Poway myself, I’ve always been intrigued by the pretty little green and white building and was super excited to be able to photograph a wedding here.

Jamie and Brad didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony but we managed to get a few photos of them together anyway

the church’s founders hall was adorably decorated with white linens and Valentine’s Day themed centerpieces

former members of Poway High School’s marching band, the Emerald Brigade, along with Brad’s parents who were chaperones

not to be outdone, the grownups also had a pretty great time on the dance floor once the 80’s hits kicked in
Jamie and Brad – you already know this but I’ll say it again. I have truly LOVED working with you two. In fact, while working on these photos I couldn’t help but smile the whole time. It has been so much fun getting to know you, and Dad and I were truly honored to have been asked to photograph such a special day. Thank you!!!
